Arts, Athletics, and Activities

At XIS we believe that students learn best in a variety of contexts. As such, XIS students have ample opportunities to learn and grow in the arts, athletics, and activities that extend beyond the academic core. This enables them to put learning in a global context and gives them the tools to foster creative autonomy. Building self-confidence and developing a more well-rounded outlook of the world is a key feature in developing empathic solutions to real-world problems and creates opportunities for authentic leadership experiences. We aim to develop the whole child in all that we do.

Xiamen International School participates in the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS). Through this association, XIS provides its young athletes, visual and performing artists, designers, and engineers, opportunities to participate in quality international interscholastic sports tournaments, performing arts events, MUN, and cultural conventions.

XIS students have ample opportunities to participate, learn and grow in the arts, athletics, and activities.
